How AgenneBridgeTM Works

AgenneBridgeTM allows your organization to exchange documents between your central location and partner facilities simply and quickly using the print functions readily available in your desktop applications.

The core of the AgenneBridgeTM suite is the AgenneBridgeTM Hub Server, which is installed on a suitable server or workstation at your central office. This service manages the exchange of documents, transmitting outbound documents to the Satellite sites and feeding received documents to the Document Management System of your choosing. AgenneBridgeTM Hub Clients are installed on user workstations to allow your users to transmit documents quickly and efficiently to the Hub Server.

Your remote or partner facilities will be equipped with the AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Service, which manages the transmission and receipt of documents to and from the Hub Service and provides the archiving and logging support necessary to maintain proper accountability. AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Clients communicate with the Satellite Service, providing your users with the functionality to send and receive documents.

AgenneBridgeTM Components

AgenneBridgeTM is composed of 4 primary components which are divided into "Hub" components and "Satellite" components.

Hub Components

AgenneBridgeTM Hub Service
The AgenneBridgeTM Hub Service is installed on an internet-facing server at the primary organization. The Hub Service manages the transmission and receipt of documents from defined Satellite sites, maintains archives of all documents, and manages the underlying SQL Server database.

An administrative console provides for the creation and management of Satellite sites and provides an overview of sent and received document traffic. Received documents are delivered as TIFF G4 files to the document management system of choice via SMTP or using a file drop to a specified directory (per Satellite site or using Department-based settings).

AgenneBridgeTM Hub Client
The AgenneBridgeTM Hub Client is installed on one or more workstations at the primary organization. The Client provides a printer and user interface through which documents may be directed to Satellite site recipients. The Client also archives a copy of each transmitted document for a configurable number of days.

Satellite Components

AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Service
The AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Service is a lightweight Windows service and SQL Server database which manages the receipt and delivery of documents between any number of installed AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Clients and AgenneBridgeTM Hub Servers, maintains archives of all documents and manages the underlying SQL Server database. An administrative console provides for the management of the service and provides an overview of sent and received document traffic.

AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Client
The AgenneBridgeTM Satellite Client is installed on one or more workstations at the Satellite facilities. It provides a printer and user interface to transmit documents to the AgenneBridgeTM Hub Server and also archives a copy of each sent document for a configurable number of days. Documents received at the Satellite Server are delivered to your users through the Satellite Client console, where they can take ownership of individual documents until the documents are marked as completed.

Flexible System Architecture

AgenneBridge'sTM forward-thinking design allows companies to setup various system architectures including "one-to-many" and "many-to-many" configurations meaning that each Hub server can work with many Satellite locations and each Satellite location can work with any number of Hub servers at different locations.
